The Fourth of July when you were a kid — sun on your face, sand under your feet, something cold and sweet melting faster than you could finish it. The smell of summer in the air. Fireworks when it got dark. Family around you. 

For this drop only, I used a melt and pour base — because the colors and the scent deserved to be done right, and I wasn't willing to compromise either. And I'm glad I made that decision because the smell brought me right back there to those days. I named it Route 1776 because every bar is a route back to something worth protecting. It smells like childhood. Like July. Like freedom. 

Scented with Rainbow Sherbert — top notes of orange burst, yellow lemon, and pink grapefruit; followed by red currant, blueberry, green apple, and lavender — this bar doesn't just smell good. It takes you somewhere. Specifically, it takes you back.

Layered in red, white, and blue with stars on front AND back.  No restocks.

$10 from every single bar goes directly to my local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) post. Not a portion. Not net proceeds. Ten dollars. Per bar.

It's a small, rural post — the kind that doesn't get a lot of visibility. They need a new roof among many other things. Every dollar matters.

I grew up in this community. I still camp at this same lake my family camped at when I was a kid. I go to that post because these are my people. When you grab a bar of Route 1776, you're saying thank you to the veterans who made every fireworks show, every Fourth of July, every feeling of freedom possible.
