About Nurse TLC
Who Is Nurse TLC?
I'm a licensed RN with over 20 years of experience — and I've spent the last several years doing something most nurses never expect to do: learning how to heal myself.
I was born with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), a genetic connective tissue disease that affects every system in the body. Which is why I also live with POTS, dystonia, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain. Eventually, those conditions ended my career at the bedside.
What came next was something I never planned — a van, a service dog named Sagie, and a whole new way of living.
Why I Make Soap in a Van
This isn't my first time here.
From 2013 to 2019, I owned and operated Herban Seduction — a handmade soap and body product company built from scratch around clean ingredients, botanical blends, and the belief that what you put on your skin deserves the same intention as what you put in your body.
Then my health got harder to outrun. EDS, POTS, fibromyalgia — the body I'd been managing for years started demanding more than I had to give. Eventually, Herban Seduction closed. And so did a lot of things I thought defined me.
What came next was something I never planned — a van, a service dog named Sagie, and a whole new way of living.
But the craft never left.
The Healing On Wheels Apothecary is what happens when twenty years of nursing knowledge meets over a decade of handmade product experience — and both of them get filtered through chronic illness, van life, and a deep need to know exactly what I'm putting on my skin.
Every Van Crafted Soap is hand-milled in small batches right here in the van. Essential oils go in off-heat to preserve full potency. Botanicals are chosen with intention. And every bar gets the same care I'd put into something made for myself or my kids— because after everything, that's still the only standard I know how to work to.
"Custom orders are my favorite thing to make — because someone took the time to tell me what they need, and I get to answer that with something handmade."
What Healing On Wheels Apothecary Believes
- Small batches done right beat large batches done fast — every time
- Clean ingredients aren't a luxury, they're a baseline
- Handmade means someone's hands actually touched it — with care
- You deserve to know exactly what's in what you're putting on your skin
- Healing looks different for everyone — and that's okay

A Note on Safety
I'm still a nurse. I will always be a nurse. Which means I will never recommend anything I wouldn't feel confident putting on my own skin — and I will always tell you when something isn't right for you.
If you have allergies, sensitivities, or questions about any ingredient, please ask before you order. I mean that genuinely.
Please review our [Allergy & Safety Disclaimer] before purchasing from the Apothecary.
